You need to have net assets of at least $2,000,000. You will also be required to make a 5-year investment of $1,200,000 with the Investissement Quebec's Immigrants Investisseurs Inc.
An investment agreement will be required with one of Quebec's participating financial intermediaries. You will also need to pass a test about Quebec's values to show an understanding of the culture in Quebec.
How Can You Apply for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program?
Quebec plans to admit 4,300 new admissions for business immigration. These programs include the Quebec Investor Program, the Quebec Entrepreneur Program, and the Quebec Self-Employed Worker Program, under the Quebec Immigration Plan for 2021.
The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program is a 2 step process.
You must acquire a Quebec Certificate of Selection (CSQ) that authorizes you to apply for permanent residency.
Then, you can submit a completed application for permanent residency to the federal government.
The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program does not provide any temporary residence status. You may also include your spouse and dependants in the application.
